How we make money

The short version

Some of the outbound links on mktplc are affiliate links. If you sign up with a provider through one of them, we may be paid a referral commission by that provider. You pay nothing extra, and the commission never changes our assessment of a provider or where it appears in a list.

What a commission does not buy

• A ranking. Ordering and editor's picks are set before any commercial conversation and are not for sale.
• A better write-up. Our assessments come from published documentation and product research. Where a provider falls short, we say so on its page, partner or not.
• A place in the directory. We list providers because they are relevant, not because they pay. Most of the providers here have no commercial relationship with us at all.

Who currently pays us

We keep this deliberately small and will name partners as programs go live. A provider being a partner is recorded against its listing, and the commission arrangement has no bearing on the analysis you read on its page.
